Former FTB2(SS) Judd Spitzer. I served on the USS Henry M. Jackson Gold Crew from Dec 1989-Dec 1993. I did a total of 7 patrols, From Patrol 18 through Patrol 30. Times were sometimes rough and other times they were great.After leaving the boat, I had the good fortune to work at the Naval Ordnance Test Unit, Cape Canaveral Florida, where I was part of the team that conducted Test Missile Launches on the Eastern Range. It was there that I realized what I missed most about the boat. It was the people. I had been on board many Tridents, with great crews, but they weren’t the people that I had done patrols with.This website is for the shipmates of the USS Henry M. Jackson. I hope that it will continue serve as a point of contact, and a place that people can go and show their friends that this is the ship that I sailed to sea on, and these are the people who I served with.
